Limited edition of 750 numbered copies on gold coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. Atlanta's Burning Down is the third studio album by Dickey Betts, better known as band member of The Allman Brothers Band. It was recorded together with his band Great Southern and was originally released in 1978. The album contains a mix of southern rock with influences from rock and country. It features the songs ""Good Time Feeling"" and ""Atlanta's Burning Down"". The title track is a poignant narrative about a soldier's wife experiencing the burning of Atlanta during the Civil War while her husband fights in Virginia. The album was met with positive reviews for Bett's singing and the band's instrumental prowess.
