The San Franciscan songwriting duo Girls imparted a massive sonic shift on their last 2010 EP, Broken Dreams Club, before breaking up in 2012. The band emerged with a more massive, lusher sound with horns, pedal steel and psychedelic effects throughout. Upon it's release, Christopher Owens described the exuberant six songs as a ""letter of intent,"" ""snapshot of the horizon"" and ""step up"" from it's stunning predecessor Album.
