Bill Haley (1925-1981) was a pioneering figure in the birth of rock 'n' roll, blending rhythm and blues with country to create a groundbreaking new sound. Leading his band The Comets, he scored massive hits like ""Rock Around the Clock,"" ""Shake, Rattle and Roll,"" ""Razzle-Dazzle,"" and ""See You Later, Alligator."" Haley's music helped bring rock 'n' roll into the mainstream and laid the foundation for the revolution that followed.
