Erik "Ripley" Johnson (Wooden Shjips) and Sanae Yamada's psych-rock duo, formed in San Francisco in 2009. Across albums Mazes, Shadow of the Sun and the Occult Architecture trilogy, Moon Duo build hypnotic, motorik psych that bridges krautrock, 60s garage and modern electronic textures.
