The festival's downtown main stage. This historic venue on Red River has been voted one of the top 50 music venues in the country and serves up great BBQ, too. Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater is an open air stage with a large canopy that's perfect for projections and visuals to accompany the music on stage. Looking forward to more epic shows at this Austin music landmark!
The Far Out Lounge has Old Austin vibes and a giant backyard with two stages under the trees and Texas sky. The venue has a 100 year history of live music, including the return of Austin Psych Fest in 2023. We love this venue and LEVITATION 2023 will host some of its largest shows and headliners on the dual stages at Far Out.
The Concourse Project is an electronic music destination a short drive from downtown, located by the south terminal of the airport. We're excited to host two massive LEVITATION events in this cavernous warehouse style space, which features state-of-the-art sound and light production.
Mohawk is a landmark music venue & has hosted countless amazing shows in its decade years of operation, including Austin Psych Fest in 2010. The main stage has multiple viewing decks and the inside stage is the perfect spot to catch your next favorite band.
Empire features two stages along with a great patio, a massive sound system and a great setup for projections and visuals. A diverse array of talent has played Empire and the venue has played host to many Levitation events over the years.
Hotel Vegas has been the beating heart of Austin's underground music scene for over a decade. Rock n roll club inside, with a tree covered patio facing the main stage in the backyard. Located in the heart of the East Sixth Street arts + entertainment district on Austin's East Side, next to neighboring sister bars The Volstead Lounge and Lolo Wine.
In its newest chapter, Parish has been rebranded and relocated to 501 Brushy Street in the heart of Austin, Texas. Independent promoters Resound Presents have breathed new life into the space formerly occupied by The North Door, preserving yet reviving the beloved old Austin haunt. The venue features a wrap around balcony so get there early for the best views!
Elysium Nightclub has been hosting Austin’s alternative nightlife since 2001. Located in the Red River district, Elysium is one of the longest standing residents to date to serve as an event venue and dance club. Complimentary entry with any LEVITATION ticket for 80s night on Sunday, Oct 29!
Established in 1975 by the late Clifford Antone, Antone’s is an iconic blues venue located in downtown Austin. Over the past 40 years, Antone’s has hosted a mind blowing number of legends including B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, and James Brown. We're pleased to present LEVITATION shows in this legendary club!
Our neighborhood rock and roll bar! Co-founded by Jake Garcia of the Black Angels who describes it as “a cool little rock & roll bar to concentrate on the culture of where psychedelic music began. This is our dedication to Roky Erickson, The 13th Floor Elevators and the Golden Dawn.” 13th Floor hosts a permanent collection of signed posters & rare LEVITATION memorabilia, late night shows and 4 Day wristband pickup!

For 2023, LEVITATION expands with the addition of two of Austin's newest independent venues: electronic music destination Concourse Project, and South Austin’s outdoor, multi-stage event center The Far Out Lounge, where Austin Psych Fest was held in April.
These new locations are in addition to LEVITATION’s traditional Red River and East Side venues, including the festival’s downtown main stage Stubb’s, and Red River and Eastside staples Mohawk, Empire, Hotel Vegas, Elysium, Parish, Antone’s and 13th Floor.
