Two classic John Peel sessions from the legendary Fall. This vinyl-only release compiles together the band's two John Peel sessions from 1978. Mastered by Andy Pearce and with art by Becky Stewart, there is also a limited-edition coloured vinyl version. The Fall were an English post-punk band, formed in Manchester in 1976. The band existed in some form ever since and was essentially built around it's founder and only constant member Mark E. Smith. Initially associated with the punk movement of the late 1970s, the group's music went through several stylistic changes over the years but was often characterised by an abrasive guitar-driven sound and frequent use of repetition, always underpinned by Smith's distinctive vocals and often cryptic lyrics.
