We’re repressing Christian Bland and The Revelators’ debut LP in an edition of 500 140g vinyl and offering the album digitally for the first time.
Christian Bland and The Revelators’ The Lost Album was recorded October 7-10, 2007 in Oakland, CA with fellow Texan, Greg Ashley, inside of an old ice cream factory known as The WC. The tapes then went missing for nearly 3 years until they were found in an old garage in South Austin, TX on April 25, 2010. The album offers 40 minutes of psychedelic rock from the lead guitarist of The Black Angels, ranging from stompbox blues to experimental freakouts, all drenched in carefully crafted noise and featuring Bland’s signature reverberated guitar stylings.
