Kikagaku Moyo

Tokyo psych quintet active 2012 to 2022, blending Eastern instrumentation, raga, krautrock and acid folk into one of the most beloved sounds of contemporary global psychedelia. Sitar player Ryu Kurosawa, guitarist Tomo Katsurada, bassist Kotsuguy and drummer Go Kurosawa built a catalog culminating in 2022's Kumoyo Island before going on indefinite hiatus.
