Silver Apples
New York electronic pioneers Simeon Coxe and Danny Taylor, who released their groundbreaking self-titled debut and Contact in 1968 and 1969. Their pulsing, oscillator-driven proto-electronica laid groundwork for everything from kraut to techno to modern synth pop. Coxe revived the project before his passing in 2020.
