The Reverberation Appreciation Society are proud to welcome Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with the Seventh The release showcases the band’s appearance at the festival with their 2013 performance, mixed by BRMC’s own Peter Hayes. These recordings are immortalized on beautiful Splatter vinyl 12" + RSD exclusive bonus track Flexi 7". This RSD exclusive version is out in stores on Sat, April 22, 2023. This 7th release follows Live at Levitation releases from Kikagaku Moyo, The Black Angels, Primal Scream, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Moon Duo and Psychic Ills. In the early 2000s, San Francisco's Black Rebel Motorcycle Club were part of a vanguard of acts spearheading a garage rock revival - each a beacon of the staying power of gritty guitar music: The White Stripes and Dirtbombs in Detroit, The Kills in London, The Strokes and Interpol in New York, The Raveonettes in Copenhagen - the list goes on. Each made their mark, and BRMC’s take on rock and roll in the 20th century was particularly alluring - dark and atmospheric, their debut LP took them immediately out of the underground and onto stages worldwide, bringing their rock and roll manifesto to a new generation of music fans and artists: I fell in love with the sweet sensation I gave my heart to a simple chord I gave my soul to a new religion Whatever happened to you? Whatever happened to our rock 'n' roll? BRMC’s answer to that question was loud and clear: rock ‘n’ roll is here to stay.
