IN a SAFE PLACE masterfully negotiates the space between minimal electronic music and melancholy instrumental neo-rock. The inclusion of vocals from Pall Jenkins, Jon Thor Birgisson (Sigur Ros) and LaValle himself is one of the striking results from this newly collaborative process.
