A fine example of sophisticated psychedelic pop from her 1968 album 'Take a Picture'.
C.A. Quintet - Smooth as Silk
The psychedelic sound of Minnesota circa 1969.
Yes - Yesterday and Today
A blissful track from their debut album.
Blackfoot - Poor Connection
Quality Zamrock from Zambia circa 1975. No frills, they are the definition of 'cool'.
Silver Apples - A Pox On You
They were American psychedelic/electronic pioneers.
Pussy - G.E.A.B.
A nice jam from the British psychedelic scene circa 1969. There is audio from a cat on the track and also at the beginning of the record. If I could go into a time machine, I would definitely stop in here for a visit.
The Golden Dawn - Tell Me Why
Very fine Texas garage/psychedelia that deserves a proper shout-out. They were on the same label as The 13th Floor Elevators and were also friends.
NEU! - Hallogallo
NEU! takes us on a journey with minimal perfection and psychedelic waves.
Kaleidoscope - Colours
Fans of psychedelic rock will likely know both the British and American bands that operated in the late '60s under the name 'Kaleidoscope', but you may have missed Mexico's Kaleidoscope! This is unquestionably one of the best psych-rock records ever cut in Mexico. Originally released in 1969.
Nurt - Kto ma dziś czas
Who has time today? An example of ridiculous musicianship from Wrocław, Poland.
Cosmic Jokers - Kinder Des Alles
A krautrock super group probably having way too much fun in the studio. The West German group included Manuel Göttsching and Klaus Schulze of Ash Ra Tempel, Jürgen Dollase and Harald Großkopf of Wallenstein, Dieter Dierks and Gille Lettmann.
