13 FROM THE 13TH FLOOR:
Oscar and The Majestics - House of The Rising Sun
My favorite version of this song, they were from Gary, Indiana.
White Noise - Your Hidden Dreams
From the legendary album “An Electric Storm” which is considered an important and influential album in the development of electronic music.
Blue Rhondos - Little Baby
The sound of North London in 1964, what a great song!
The Atlantics - Come On
An Australian scorcher that demonstrates how strong the scene was circa 1967.
The Cherry Slush - I Cannot Stop You
Good American 60’s garage at it’s finest.
Love - The Castle
My favorite group ever, this one is Spanish-esque .
Richard Demaria - Next Episode
Some interesting 70’s French Groove with impeccable tones.
The What Four - I’m Gonna Destroy The Boy
Always enjoy hearing this track on the dance floor with DJ Holly Calder. Thanks Holly! So good!
The Flower Power - Mt. Olympus
An uplifting track with great Leslie guitar sounds from Flower Power circa 1969. Completely tripped out!
Public Nuisance - Strawberry Man
A great discovery, this group never made it due to the Charles Manson incident and luckily these lost tapes were unearthed in the 1990’s for our enjoyment. Anti-war stuff which is fitting for today. Read more about it in Ugly Things magazine.
Ngozi Family / Chrissy Zebbi Tembo - Fisherman
Zamrock! aka African gold
Third Bard - Lose Your Mind
Another scorcher from one of the greatest 60s garage bands.
101 Strings Orchestra - Flame Out
Space-aged music for Bachelor/Bachelorette pads.
Thanks for listening!
