Levitation 2018

LEVITATION returned to downtown Austin, Texas in 2018 for year #10, taking over the Red River District with another epic lineup and sold out shows across the 4 day weekend.

Skipping the traditional festival-in-a-field model, LEVITATION was held in the city’s renowned music venues, with nearly 30 shows spread across 9 venues offering attendees the option to build their weekend experience from a menu of shows topped off by SLOWDIVE, ELECTRIC WIZARD, THE BLACK ANGELS, TY SEGALL, MINISTRY, THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, OH SEES, PARQUET COURTS, OM, DEAN DEACON, ARIEL PINK, CHELSEA WOLFE, WAXAHATCHEE, DEAD MEADOW, BATHS, WINDHAND, WOODEN SHJIPS, LA LUZ and many, many more.

The official after-party held April 30th at Hotel Vegas was headlined by OH SEES (playing their 3rd show of the weekend), and raised over nine thousand dollars for The Austin Children’s Shelter.
