Levitation 2019

LEVITATION returned in 2019 for its 11th year, taking over downtown Austin, TX and melting minds at numerous sold out shows across the 4 day weekend.

During LEVITATION’s second year embracing the non-traditional fest format, we saw our most diverse lineup yet – from reverb-laden psychedelia to thrash metal to darkwave to old school punk. With over 30 shows spread across 10 venues, attendees were allowed the freedom to curate their own experience.

The star-studded lineup included JOHN CALE of The Velvet Underground, THE FLAMING LIPS, ANGEL OLSEN, KURT VILE, THE BLACK ANGELS, HIGH ON FIRE, ALLAH-LAS, KIKAGAKU MOYO, DEAFHEAVEN, CHELSEA WOLFE, NIGHT BEATS, DINOSAUR JR, A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS, RED FANG, BLACK MOUNTAIN, and so many more.
